We are responsible for the processing of your personal data on this website (data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).

2. What data we collect

We only collect the data we need to run our shop and send you our emails:

  • Your name and email address when you buy a product or sign up for our emails

  • Payment and billing details when you place an order (processed by Stripe, we never see your full card number)

  • Technical data when you visit our website, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit

3. Website hosting

Our website is hosted by Squarespace. When you visit our website, Squarespace processes technical data such as your IP address to display the website and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Cookies and statistics

Our website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, for example to keep the website secure.

Squarespace also collects anonymous statistics about how visitors use our website, such as which pages are visited. This helps us improve the website. These analytics cookies are only used if you agree to them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time.

We do not use Google Analytics or any advertising cookies.

5. Purchases and payments

When you buy a product, your payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your name, email address, billing details and payment information to process your payment and prevent fraud. We receive your name, email address and order details. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

6. Product delivery

After your purchase, you enter your name and email address in a form so we can send you your files. This is done through Flodesk, our email service. Your files are stored on Dropbox and shared with you through a download link. Dropbox does not receive your personal data from us. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

7. Emails and newsletter

If you sign up for our emails or receive a free product, we will send you emails with freebies, creative ideas and news about our products. We use Flodesk to send these emails. Flodesk may record whether you open our emails and click on links, so we can understand what our subscribers enjoy.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

If you have bought a product from us, we may also send you emails about similar products. You can object to this at any time, free of charge, by clicking the unsubscribe link (§ 7(3) UWG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

8. Data transfers outside the EU

Some of our service providers (Squarespace, Stripe, Flodesk and Dropbox) are based in the United States or may process data there. These transfers are protected by the EU US Data Privacy Framework or by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. How long we keep your data

We keep your data only as long as necessary. Email subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe. Order and billing records are kept for as long as required by German tax and commercial law (up to 10 years).

10. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you

  • Correct inaccurate data

  • Have your data deleted

  • Restrict the processing of your data

  • Receive your data in a portable format

  • Object to the processing of your data

  • Withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future

You also have the right to file a complaint with a data protection authority. For us, this is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
